Her Royal Highness Princess Jelisaveta Karađorđević, (Engl. Elizabeth), Romanova from her mother's side, is a direct descendant of Russian Queen Catherine the Great.She is Princess Olga and Prince Pavle’s (Paul) daughter, and she is related to European nobility and a near relative of Prince of Wales, Duke of Kent, Spanish Queen Sofia, King Michael of Romania, King Constantine of Greece and Dutch Queen Beatrice. The Princess lived in exile since she was 4, when her family was forced to leave their country in 1941. She was the first member of her family who came back, in 1987. She lives in her country today and creates perfumes.Princess Jelisaveta is a woman with extreme energy and eternal, bright smile on her face. She is a woman who set herself a goal to, aside the business she started, take effort and improve the image of her country with her work, so she presents Serbia in the best light in slow but steady pace. This energetic woman with many interests is a great humanist. She started The Fleur de Lys charity foundation as a branch of Order of Fleur de Lys, which helps endangered children of the world. She received the 'Demiurgus Peace International' award on October 12th 2003 in Zug, Switzerland. Besides HRH Princess Jelisaveta Karađorđević, other high officials were rewarded for their contribution in promotion of peace among nations. The award giving was initiated by World Council of Former Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Forum for Nuclear Disarming, and these are: His Excellence V.V. Putin (Former President of the Russian Federation), His Holiness Alexei the Second (Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia), The Honourable dr. Desmond Tutu (retired Anglican Archbishop of Cape town, South Africa), professor Maulana Vahidudin Kan (president of Islamic center Al-Risala, India), professor Michael Windy (director and founder of Organization for Reconstruction of Villages in India), Mr. Ted Turner (president of United Nations Foundation). The first perfume, 'E' was presented in the USA and it was a combination of four flowers, and the second was introduced right after it and named 'My Angel'. It was relaunched in 2002 in Serbia and renamed into the Princess' name 'Jelisaveta'. Her third perfume is expected in 2008 and it will be dominated by violet. Each of her perfumes has a story on its own and each ingredient is 'taken' from some place which Princess Jelisaveta will stay connected with, whether by some moment, experience or person.
