Olivier Strelli is a Belgian fashion designer of Italian origin, born as Nissim Israel in 1946 in the Belgian Congo. He has been engaged in the world of fashion for over 30 years, and his inspirations are colors of Africa.In 1976, he presented his first collection, which sold successfully, at the Women’s Salon du Prêt-à-porter in Paris. In 1985 he opened his first exclusive store, followed by the opening of several more boutiques. Olivier Strelli is considered the designer who introduced Belgian creativity to the fashion world. The first fragrance carrying his name was launched by Avon in 1994. He launched the signature Olivier Strelli women’s perfume in 2005, followed by The World is Wonderful in 2007.
