Pilar & Lucy is a fragrance brand established in Hollywood, Los Angeles. It was founded by Victoria, a former ballet dancer, actress and model, and Gretchen, a poet and former manager of the Kitson boutique in West Hollywood. Victoria grew up in New York and upon moving to LA she came up with the idea of creating a line of fragrances that would combine the girly glam of Hollywood with the classic sophistication of New York. The fragrances and its designs are inspired by the old Hollywood style and the brand’s signature colors are black, red and pink. The vintage glamour inspiration is used and adapted to modern times with imagination, freshness and creativity. The names of the fragrances represent fun poetry fragments like “Tiptoeing Through Chambers of the Moon”. Pilar and Lucy offer Eau de Parfum, perfume extracts, candles and body care products. A chic marabou boa decorated each bottle of EDP. Victoria explained at the official site: “Within the creation of Pilar and Lucy I found a way to incorporate my artistic influences and childhood memories in these perfumes. My hope is that these perfumes will take you inside a memory of your own.” Some of the celebrities that are fans of this brand are: Britney Spears, Carmen Electra, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
