Scent on Canvas is a Spanish perfume house based in Barcelona. Conceived by Béatrice Aguilar-Cassarà, a formally-trained nose with education and industry experience in both France and Spain, Scent on Canvas was inspired by her love of both fragrance and art.Scent on Canvas pairs talented perfumers with talented artists. Béatrice Aguilar-Cassarà and her collaborating perfumers travel the world to source the best ingredients. The fragrances are developed first, then presented to visual artists who create original works of art based on their olfactory experiences of the scents. Pigments used in the paints serve as the inspiration for the fragrance names. Engravings of the original works of art adorn each limited edition fragrance box, but the boxes must be fully opened out in order to view the complete signed, numbered, ready-to-frame artwork.
